[ANNOUNCE] FSVS 1.0.13 released

Message Hello everybody!

FSVS 1.0.13 is released.

---------------------------------------------------------------------
FSVS is a complete backup/restore tool for all files in a directory
tree or whole filesystems, with a subversion repository as the
 backend for data storage.
You may think of it as some kind of rsync with versioned storage.
---------------------------------------------------------------------

It's somewhat work in progress, in that there are some points which need a
bit more polishing (eg. it compiles on MacOS and FreeBSD now, but does not
fully work), but I'm afraid I won't find time for another release the next
few weeks.

There were a lot of changes.
Two important bugfixes happened:
- remote repositories (eg. via svn+ssh) should now work (again), and
- with a small probability when files were ignored, fsvs would ignore
  the wrong files.

Lots of smaller fixes:
- "fsvs add" now correctly adds the intermediate directories as well, and
- on these added directories the entries are now found again.

User-visible changes:
- "-r" now understands HEAD,
- new command "fsvs info",
- "fsvs help" needs no WAA any more, and
- there's an environment variable "FSVS_WARNINGS" which can be set
to define the handling of warnings.

You can get fsvs at the usual place; freshmeat
(http://freshmeat.net/projects/fsvs) should shortly show the new version.
For the impatient there's

I would especially like to say "THANK YOU" to the developers and users
which helped me find bugs and resolve them - their patience is outstanding
:-).
Thank you!

I hope you all enjoy this new version; bugs, suggestions, ideas and
similar can be dropped in the mailing lists
users at fsvs dot tigris dot org
and
dev at fsvs dot tigris dot org
Of course patches are welcome, too.

Regards,

Phil
