Auth via http(s)?

Message Considering that running subversion over http (or https) is becoming super
popular these days, I have two questions:

* Since fsvs knows how to access repositories via http (ie you can provide a
url which is a repository over http), is there a built-in mechanism for http
auth?
* If this mechanism does not exist (I can't seem to make it work), is this
something that has a chance at making its way into the project?

Thanks
